New Year's Day...Here I come!

I am sooo ready for 2009. I know it is going to be a great year! Tonight I am going to celebrate new year's with my family and some friends. I am going to wear gold, don't worry I will take alot of pics. Also, I painted my nails gold with little fireworks on it, can't really tell that good with the pics but it does look really cute. Hope everyone has a Happy and Safe New Year's!!!

NEW PHONE!

OMG! I am so excited. My boyfriend got me a cool new phone. It is soo cute, I just wish they had it in pink but oh well, it is still really cute. and it has a keyboard for txting.

E.L.F. Brushes Mini Haul

I have been using the eyeshadow brush from Eyes Lips Face (ELF) because one of my friends suggested it and told me about their website and almost everything is $1.00!!! They have been pretty good so I decided to order more from the website and here is what I bought. I got 2 total face brushes, 1 bronzing and blending brush, 2 more eyeshadow brushes, 1 defining eye brush and an eyelash curler. The total face brush feels smooth but not as smooth as other high-end quality brushes out there. The eyeshadow brushes have been working out pretty good for me, and the defining eyeshadow brush looks like it would work great as a brow bone brush to apply highlighting eyeshadows. The only thing is that they take awhile to ship standard and it does take awhile. oh well! I ordered about $40.00 worth right now to try out some of their other products. I will take some more pics when they come in. I can't wait. Coastal Scents, continued

OMG! I just checked the mail and I already received my coastal scents order! I just ordered it this weekend and It already arrived today! Wow. lightning fast shipping! I think I will order more often now.

It was packaged securely in this bubble wrap envelope...The products were then wrapped in super-cute star tissue paper...When that was opened it came with a sample of pigmented eye shadow, the gel liner was in a box and then in another cute drawstring bag(it only cost $6.95), and then the angled brush ($1.79) was also in a plastic wrapping.

This is the gel liner, it is super smooth and I already put some on. It is a bright pink and looks awesome on my eyes. I will probably take some pictures of it later.

Wow. I just can't believe they ship that fast. You should really try it. I will def. order more stuff from them. Oh and it is really inexpensive!!! That helps too. Here is the link again...www.coastalscents.com

coastal scents

On Sunday I ordered a gel liner from coastal scents, it looks really pretty on the picture so I hope it is as pretty as they say it is. And I also ordered an angled eyeliner brush. I am excited and can't wait until it comes in the mail. I will let you know when it gets in and I will take some pics. Oh which reminds me, ahhhh, I need to get batteries for my camera because I ran out. ugh! oh well. Have a good day! Oh, I am sooo excited. My grandparents, aunt and cousins came in from Mexico on Saturday! I have not seen them in a while and I am super excited to see them. It's shopping time!

I love this snake-skin embossed compact that has a huge red jewel on it. I have Devoted Poppy, but there are other palettes available. I got this a few months ago and absolutely love it.

Christmas Treats

Chocolate Covered Strawberries, YUMM

Little snowmen cupcakes: make cupcakes as usual, stack two marshmellows on top of each other, cut one pretzel stick in half and stick them in the bottom marshmellow for arms, use candy or icing to draw the face and you can stick a hershey's kiss on top as a hat (optional). You can use coconut flakes on the cupcakes to look like snow. I made these for my boyfriend and his family. I think they look so great, I also made a strawberry cheesecake and many cookies but I didnt have pictures for that.

120 Color Pallete

This is my absolute favorite pink color but it didn't come out good. Sorry! :(

New to This...

New to blogging but I will learn as I go. I will be updating my blog soon with more pictures. Hope everyone had a great Christmas and I so looking forward to the new year. This year has been really hard but thanks to God I got through it. I just wanted to post a picture of my makeup on Christmas...It is a gold and green color combo. Looks really cute, I think it would look better with red lipstick but I ran out and so I used pink. Also I did my sister's makeup and did this new "peppermint twist" look on her. She looked so cute. Hope you enjoy this look. I used the 120 pallette. I love love love the colors.
